David & Kathy Rose have been independent writers and producers of film and television for over 30 years and have a passion and growing reputation for unearthing unusual, untold true stories.

At the forefront of the emerging pop video industry, in the early 80s David & Kathy directed and produced over 200 pop videos and live concerts - some of which can be seen on YouTube (click here for more): Gazebo - "I like Chopin" - the top-selling record in Europe in 1984; Classix Nouveaux - "The End or The Beginning" - Top 20 UK ; Forrest - "Rock The Boat" - #4 UK; Shakin' Stevens - "Come see about me" - top 20 UK; Gary Numan - "Heart".

David was Creative Director of Walt Disney Television International 1996-2000 - launching six Disney Channels across Europe - and before that for the launch of Nickelodeon UK 1993 - 1996, introducing several innovations, such as the first public studio (in a shop window in the Trocadero), the first virtual studio and the first live 3D CGI presenter - BERT THE FISH - who would talk to kids on the phone.

Kathy, as Kathy Rose Management, launched the careers of Rick Adams (Big Breakfast) and Nancy Lam (first chef on Channel Five), and has lent a hand to the careers of Sarah Cawood (BBC, MTV, etc), Lucy Alexander (BBCtv), Barny Harwood (CBBC), Nigel May and many others.

Their independent series "The Kid" - a live-action cartoon series with no dialogue - pre-dating Mr Bean by over ten years - was aired on the BBC and all over the world, mostly in children's slots except in Scandinavia, where it aired late night!

Their equally irreverant and innovative radio series "The tics" - billed as the first cartoon on radio - was aired for over a year on the Saturday mornings on BBC Radio 5.

Their first forray in the the world of feature films was when they discovered, researched and wrote the hitherto unknown story for the movie "Mrs Henderson Presents" (starring Bob Hoskins and Judi Dench, directed by Stephen Frears).
